| I conducted an Open Card Sorting study with seven participants using OptimalSort to explore how users naturally categorize content. The results highlighted clear patterns: items related to settings and general user information were consistently grouped together, while other content categories showed more varied organization.

| Based on these insights, I simplified the Search page to allow direct access to expert profiles, incorporating location and style filters for more efficient discovery. Additionally, I redesigned the Inspiration page to better represent mood boards and strengthen their connection to user profiles, improving the overall information architecture and navigational clarity.

Paper wireframes

Creating paper wireframes helped me to quickly translate research insights, user journeys, and information architecture into tangible layouts. This low-fidelity approach allowed me to efficiently test and refine flows and key elements, ensuring alignment with user needs and project goals.

Usability Tests

I conducted six moderated in-person usability tests to evaluate how participants interacted with the app and to uncover usability issues. Each session was carefully structured, with participants completing key tasks while their behavior and feedback were observed and recorded. This approach provided both qualitative and quantitative insights into how effectively the product met user needs.
